This is that peculiar system that Björk made famous. He was largely responsible for the graphics and interface of the Reactable synthesiser. Marco Alonso is the Spanish developer of Samplr and he has some quite interesting history. You can see in the video that Samplr lets you do many creative things with the samples you make on it. I only used my little Yamaha Guitalele (six string ukelele tuned like a guitar but a fifth up – bottom string is a B). Here is a video I filmed today to investigate the new mode. (umm this image is of an earlier version but more or less looks like this!) This app just keeps on getting better and better! We also made sure that the modules would be neatly arranged inside to make them easier to dissect for curious minds such as yourself. My favourite iPad app Samplr has just had a great new update taking it to version 1.3. Thank you so much Positiveforever! You seem to really get what Audulus is all about. Worth every penny… just be prepared to spend ages on this as you learn more, ideas will start to build up allowing you to create what you may have thought impossible before. For me, the addition of AUv3 is a master stroke and brings the ability to build effects and midi tools for use in iPad DAWs like AUM. Best way to learn is by dissecting these patches. Easy to start out and an amazing variety of patches available. If you have a notion to experiment with the building blocks of sound synthesis this is a great way to start. Thanks again for the lovely review, and thank you for being a part of our growing community!Ībsolute fantastic application made even better with version 4. I think you'll be excited to see what the future holds as far as more Eurorack integration into Audulus - there's a whole arena of control and helper modules we're going to start including for use with Expert Sleepers and DC-coupled audio interfaces, as well as eventually MIDI out modules as well! For those who aren't afraid to mix their modular with their computer or at least their iPad, it'll be a huge boon in functionality. Hi Ziforge! Thank you for your lovely review :) It's high praise to put us among Max, Pd, and Supercollider, all of which are excellent digital modular synthesis environments. So i give it a 10/10 and i hope to learn more as i go along. So its nice to come to something at the end of the day to unwind and create music with that will be anywhere on my travels. I think it sits well within the sound sphere of Supercollider and its ilk which i hold in the highest regard, but with this only node programming is required vs SC’s programmer centric workflow. The sound quality is also a step up compared to Max or Pure Data. So i can attest you will not only get a great product for music but also a great community willing to help you grow. What i do have to say actually is on the forums and on the discord the makers are super responsive, polite and kind and go out of their way to help you. It really is fantastic and it has lots of features you can expand your system with including even building your own modules. I am using this on my IPad to pair with my modular with an ES-9.
